Every two years, CABSA and our ministry partners invite organisations and individuals in Gauteng to meet for networking and knowledge-sharing at the CABSA AGM. This year we will look back at what we have learnt after thirty years in the HIV epidemic.

The morning will start with a time of networking around a cup of coffee, while we visit exhibitions.

We have a number of interesting presentations: CABSA’s perspective on why the focus has shifted to HIV Competence rather than just mobilizing faith communities; World Vision will speak about the Child Health Now campaign, and how this fits into a faith based HIV response; INERELA+ will focus on the SAVE Prevention Toolkit and the development of a multifaceted prevention model; COMPASS will focus on organizational sustainability and the role the NGO Scorecard can play in ensuring sustainability and credibility of civil society and faith based organisations and we will hear more about the role of men in the HIV response.
