Blankets from business school for Mandela Day
The University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB) made sure they didn't miss out on an opportunity to do good on Mandela Day. Responding to a blanket collection need posted by the forgood team, the USB team delivered 7 brand-new thick, fleecy blankets to the forgood offices.
Says Heilet Bertrand of USB: "As part of celebrating Nelson Mandela’s birthday Hennie, myself and De Wet Schoeman (of USB Executive Development Ltd) looked at initiatives that we could support and then found your website and decided on the blanket initiative due to the extremely cold weather we have been enjoying. So our Johannesburg office decided to all pitch in and contribute the blankets. Our Cape Town office supported a local school by making sandwiches as their initiative for Mandela day."
The blankets will be distributed to an active group on forgood who desperately need the blankets.
