Charities receive blanket donations

The Fellowship of St Peter Anglican Church of Mossel Bay recently donated knitted patchwork blankets to two deserving charities.  The blankets, knitted by Mossel Bay locals, were welcomed at both the Sipucule Crèche and the Bathandeni Baby Crèche.  Sipucule crèche, which cares for children of pre-school age, also receives help from other organisations, such as the local Rotary club, Nedbank, several shipping companies and a Swedish Rotary Club.  Bathandeni baby crèche looks after younger charges, from newborn babies to two-year-olds.  Bathandeni cares for children so that their mothers can return to school or work.  Both institutions were grateful for the warm blankets.
