Botswana Gender-Based Violence Prevention and Support Centre (BGBVC) is a non-profit organisation which aims to respond to and raise awareness about gender-based violence in Botswana. It started as the Kagisano Society Women’s Shelter Project in 1998, being the first shelter for abused women and their children in Botswana.
