About Us

We help abandoned and other newborn babies given for adoption by caring for them, feeding, clothing, love and passion

More about my Cause

We are registered as an uMephi Child and Youth Care Centre – Ubuntu House to provide temporary safe care for newborn babies, given up by their mothers from unwanted pregnancies, rejection due to HIV, or abandoned. We care for 11 Babies at this moment in time and employ the House Mother & 9 Care Givers. Our reason for communicating with you is to ask whether you could take hands with us and help making a difference in the life of a child. God will bless you abundantly. See below also how you can adopt a cot and have your name on the cot. Any financial donation would be highly appreciated.
Since the opening of the house in September 2003, we already cared for 587 babies and placed 475 with adopted forever parents and 101 were also reunited with their biological parents. Our aim is to have these babies adopted before the age of six months but most times for various reasons they stay for longer periods. We do get a subsidy from the Department of Social Development but have to rely a lot on Organizations like Yours and Business People to help us in our financial needs to look after these little babies.
