The Reading Factory

The Reading Factory was established in 2021 with the vision of building strong foundations of education for schoolchildren in early grade and primary school. Currently, the organization runs three models namely; an accelerated learning programme for children with learning challenges, professional development training for teachers, and advocacy programmes to enhance Inclusive education in Ghana. Registered as a Community-Based Organisation, the organization works with volunteers and experts within the community to provide tailored support to schools and children in specific communities. The accelerated learning programme, dubbed Adisadel Learning Clinic, runs weekly classes for children with functional learning challenges. Using the concept of teaching at the right level and Jolly Phonics and The Reading Factory’s customized curriculum, children are placed based on their ability rather than their age or grade level.
