Water-Lily Foundation

The Water-Lily Foundation was officially established in October 2024 with a dedicated mission to enhance access to potable water, advocate for climate action, and strengthen mental health support for individuals across Ghana. As a youth-led organization, we focus on empowering young people in the Northern Region by building their skills and engaging them in impactful initiatives. For instance, during the 2024 Local Conference of Youth (LCOY), we facilitated a consultation program with youth in Northern Ghana to discuss the opportunities and challenges in advancing climate action. Our foundation has also collaborated on projects to provide a mechanized borehole facility to Botingli, a deprived community in Northern Ghana, implementing sustainable structures to ensure borehole maintenance and promote sanitation and hygiene practices. We actively seek partnerships to further our mission and, as an emerging NGO, are eager for support to drive sustainable development in Northern Ghana.
