Bornstar Children Center

The main purpose of Bornstar Children Center is to help unprivileged and orphan kids access free education, have meals and enhance their health. It is an educational and rescue center. We run the center in a church along the Railway since our premises were demolished before. We have kids between 3 months and 10 years of age. Our center runs from Day Care, Pre primary 1, Pre primary 2, Grades 1, 2 and 3. We have a population of about 50 children. We experience challenges including shortage of food, staff and funds to effectively run the center. We rely on well wishers to support our project but it has been so difficult to acquire donors. This has threatened our operations and even put us on the verge of collapse. We pay rent for the school and mainly rely on debts to sustain the kids at our center.
