Lagos Food Bank Initiative

The Lagos Food Bank Initiative (LFBI) is a non-profit organization committed to addressing hunger, malnutrition, and food insecurity across Nigeria. Since its inception, we have played a pivotal role in providing immediate food relief to vulnerable populations while promoting sustainable solutions for long-term food security. The organization’s mission focuses on ensuring equitable access to nutritious food for those in need, particularly children in low-income communities. One of our flagship programs is the Education Enhancement Intervention for Food Insecure Students (EDUFOOD), which serves children in low-cost private schools in low income communities. We provide healthy and nutritious meals during school hours to improve students' health, increase school attendance, and enhance their cognitive development.
