Zanzibar Human Genetics Organisation-ZHGO

In fulfilling its aims and objects, the Zanzibar Human Genetics Organization shall have the following objectives: Promote community’s health development and strengthening healthy life style in Zanzibar. Promote establishment and update database of scientist and institutions which are involved in human genetic research and services. Promote networking and communications where human genetics research findings and services will be communicated among scientists, government and the public in Zanzibar. Facilitate development of policies on Human genetics research and services in the community. Advocacy for national, regional and international collaborations for early detection, prevention and management of human genetics diseases in Zanzibar.
