Engaged Citizenship is a social impact campaign by Stellenbosch University. This campaign gives the Stellenbosch University SI Leader, AEC and Social Work student, an opportunity to make real impact through various microvolunteering opportunities across the country.

What are microvolunteering opportunities? These are bite-sized volunteering actions on the go. They are short-term and flexible to suit your unpredictable student life because we know that you want to make a difference, no matter how busy you are. You get to help a Cause, in some way or another, even on days when it feels like 24hours in a day is just not enough.

How do you get involved?

• Simply register as a volunteer on the forgood site
• Click on this campaign 
• Find an opportunity that you would like to volunteer to 
• Click on “volunteer”
• You will receive a volunteer confirmation email and you can get started

Once you have completed your volunteering opportunity, please come back to your dashboard and rate your experience. Not only will this serve as proof of having completed your practical exercise, but we value your feedback and want to make sure that you are having quality volunteering experiences.
