Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

Many of the young people served by MYCO's programs come from underprivileged backgrounds where access to warm, proper-fitting clothing can be a significant challenge, especially during the colder winter months. Lacking appropriate attire can pose barriers to school attendance, outdoor activities, and overall comfort and wellbeing. MYCO's winter clothing drive aims to collect essential garments and outerwear to distribute to youth participants in need. This includes items like: Coats, jackets, and hoodies Hats, scarves, and gloves Long-sleeved shirts and sweaters Pants, long socks, and thermal underwear Providing these winter essentials not only keeps the young people warm, but also helps them feel more confident, respected, and ready to fully engage in MYCO's educational and enrichment programs. Beyond the practical benefits, the act of receiving a new warm outfit can have an incredibly meaningful, morale-boosting impact on the youth. It shows them that their community cares about their wellbeing and is invested in their success. MYCO has identified approximately 75-100 young people who would greatly benefit from receiving winter clothing assistance through this campaign. Your donation of any new or gently used cold-weather items can help meet this critical need and ensure no child is left out in the cold. Financial contributions are also welcome and will be used to purchase additional clothing supplies as needed. Even a small monetary gift can go a long way in providing warmth and comfort to youth facing challenging circumstances. Please consider supporting MYCO's winter clothing drive. Your generosity can make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable young people in the Mpumalanga region.
