Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

Urgent Appeal for Borehole and Solar Power System for St. Tabeth Children’s Home Greetings from St. Tabeth Children’s Home in Chidoma, Gokwe South – Rural Zimbabwe. We are writing to make a heartfelt appeal for urgent assistance. Our Home is in critical need of support to improve the water and energy infrastructure that sustains both our residential facilities and farming operations. Specifically, we are seeking help with the following: Drilling and installation of a reliable borehole Water storage tanks for clean and consistent water supply Solar panels and solar panel stand Full solar power system installation for greenhouse operations and electrification of housing units Due to our rural location, we have no access to electricity, and the water situation remains dire. Previously, we engaged Chapeta Boreholes, a drilling company that unfortunately defrauded the Home by misrepresenting their capabilities. They falsified the borehole siting and lacked the necessary experience and tools to carry out the work. A case of fraud has since been opened at Gweru Central Police Station, and we are pursuing legal action to recover the misused funds. This time of year is especially difficult for us. The ongoing socio-economic challenges in Zimbabwe have had a severe impact on our agricultural and income-generating activities, which are vital to the sustainability of the Home. Our greenhouse farming supports our children's nutrition and helps generate funds for daily operations, but without water and electricity, our efforts are at risk of collapsing. We are appealing to compassionate individuals, donors, development organizations, and technical partners to assist us in any of the following ways: Financial donations towards the borehole and solar system Donation of water tanks, solar panels, or related equipment Technical assistance for installation and infrastructure Every contribution—no matter the size—will have a profound impact on the well-being of the children in our care and the sustainability of the Home. For more information or to offer your support, please contact: Mr. Miles Hope Nyoni International Donor Relations and Fundraising Coordinator 📞 +1 (240) 787 2886 We deeply appreciate your consideration and support as we work together to provide a safer, more sustainable environment for the children of St. Tabeth Children’s Home. Warm regards, St. Tabeth Children’s Home
