Profile of Saidika Organization Introduction Saidika Organization is a community-based non-profit rooted in Nairobi, Kenya, with a mandate to uplift, empower, and safeguard vulnerable communities, especially those living in informal settlements. Founded with a vision to create safe, inclusive, and thriving spaces for women, youth, children, and families, the organization draws on the strength of local resilience while connecting to global networks of solidarity, learning, and resources. Kenya’s urban informal settlements face multiple overlapping challenges: poverty, unemployment, poor access to healthcare, educational barriers, gender-based violence (GBV), and social marginalization.
