Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

Zimconserve currently has 12 football teams,12 cricket teams,12 rugby teams in 6 schools and 10 football teams in 2 communities to be specific, who are in dire need of cricket, football and rugby equipment and clothing. The increase in anti-social crimes, deviance, drug and substance abuse, limited access to sport and sporting equipment owing to poverty, early child marriages, domestic violence and politically instigated violence are the major problems being faced by the targeted beneficiaries. The project targets children (9-17years) and youth (18-35 years) in Zimbabwe. The targeted implementation area is Seke rural district and Chitungwiza. Children, youth, and young women are vulnerable groups to these problems and child, youth and women agency social and economic capital is not being utilised positively. Among many other issues, the communities have limited life skills coaching, socio-civic engagement, empowerment, and resources enabling their access to sport. Zimconserve thereby seeks partnerships and support in its quest to address the mentioned problems across Zimbabwean communities. The summary of issues that need to be addressed include: (i) Capacitation and empowering of children, youth and young women through provision of sporting equipment and facilities. (ii) Using sport as an educational tool to address social issues such as drug and substance abuse, early child pregnancies and anti-social crime. (iii) Use of sport as a tool to build peace and enhance community cohesion.
