What are we currently doing?
In the first term, extra mattresses were donated to Stellenbosch Disaster Unit. During the second and third term, Huis Visser will visit Animal Welfare Society Stellenbosch. Clean-up, dog walking, spend time with puppies and bathing animals will be done in term 4 in collaboration with another residence. Huis Visser will also have an awareness campaign partnering up with another residence.
What else can you do?
Community service has been an integral part of Stellenbosch University (SUN) for decades albeit in different forms and with shifting emphasis. This platform allows you to make social impact within the university's (7) CSI themes.
