Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
Dr GJ Joubert has a dream to have their own library. With the public library in Strand burned down in in February 2021 this is no longer a dream but a need. Vision for library is: - Friendly place where kids can enjoy reading - Place to offer literacy programs & other educational programs - Kids can borrow books to take home. - Big need for research for school projects - Safe place for kids with social challenges There is already a team of volunteers who kick-started the project. You can get involved to help the school make their dream of a library a reality. They also need a librarian.
