Help Wings for Life Institute by Donating computers or sponsorship for learners and the needs of the school

Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

Wings for Life helps children with special needs to develop in a variety of areas. To keep this vision going, we need continuous support from the church, community and corporates. As a non-profit organization, we are able to provide a 18A tax certificate (which ensures that donations are tax deductible) if you partner with us. This certificate can be given for services provided, products given or financial contributions. Many parents of children who require special needs education can’t afford the fees. Contact us if you or your company wants to sponsor a specific learner. Ways in which you can make a difference: Sponsor a learner Sponsor a Programme within the Vocational Curriculum – gardening, woodwork etc. Monthly contributions Donations - Sasol employees with the Sasol donating matching programme Gifts in kind – contact us to find out what we need. Volunteer your time Sponsor a professional to enrich our learners (for example a speech therapist) Future plans/project – builders, electricians, sponsor a house or the entire project

Helpful tips

Stay safe

  1. 1Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
  2. 2When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
  3. 3Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
  4. 4Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
  5. 5If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
  6. 6Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
  7. 7Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
