Hands of love task is to mentor and coach these girls in order to influence their thinking and plant seeds of hope. South Africa’s tomorrow lies on the hands of these young stars and if not properly developed we miss out on the leaders, doctors and presidents of tomorrow. Unsupervised and uncared teens are at greater risk for several negative outcomes such as poor academic achievement, school dropout, abuse and neglect, behavioral and socio emotional problems, physical health problems, and developmental delays. Hand of Love goal is to cover the gap by giving love to these girl teen children and offer the support and love they normally don’t find at home. We motivate and encourage them to use their environment as push to work hard so they can be notable figures in the future who can come and give back to the society in the same way that hands of love is giving to them. Hands of Love Youth: We provide bi-weekly Coaching and Mentorship for teen girls in the western Cape Highschool: * Mfuleni High School *Bardale High School *Khayelitsha,Harare township Program offerings: 1. Well planned group programs 2. Skills development 3. Mentoring and coaching 4. Motivation and Encouragement 5 .University applications assistance 6 .Counseling 7. Old age pampering 8 .Sports & talent grooming 9. Community Projects 10. Monthly Sanitary towels Support Hands of Love for the Old: Community Project for the Old Age adults in Townships: Khayelitsha and Mfuleni: ## Nurturing for seniors,Most of the seniors cannot afford massage parlors and pampering themselves. Therefore Hands of love brings a massage parlor to them. The teen girls assists in the program for the seniors: *We massage all the adults with hand held massage machinery. * We do foot massage, neck, hands and head massages which leave them feeling revived and cared for. * We cut their nails and have stalls for nail polishing for the young vibrant fresh ladies. After all the exercising, dancing and massages we offer tea/coffee and biscuits for the adults. We end the session in prayer thanking the lord for pouring his love over all of them. Hands of love kids: Hands of love brings smiles to many disadvantaged families around South Africa. Hands of love hosts Christmas gatherings with children from poor townships and donate a Christmas presents. Majority of these children never receive Christmas gift. Hands of love provide moments of happiness to a children who need the most. Christmas gift include: *Toy *tooth brush and face cloth *Snacks( sweet and chips) * School socks Hands of Love require funding to run the project. Township Youth are faced with challenges due to the disadvantaged environment they are growing in. according to recent studies, almost half of the country's pupils are either dropping out of school, or not finishing school in the expected 12 years, this is due lack of support and lack of resources in the communities.several factors contribute simultaneously to school dropout and increased pregnancy rate amongst teens in townships. Some of the issues faced by youth in townships are personal problems,family, school factors, teachers and friends. Hands of love vision is to mentor and coach these girls in order to influence their thinking and plant seeds of hope.
