Every South African knows what 18 July means. Mandela Day - it's more than a celebration of Nelson Mandela’s life and legacy; it is a global movement to take his life’s work into a new era and change our world for the better.

You, your friends and colleagues could help a cause by feeding children, painting an aftercare centre or creating a beautiful garden. If you can’t make it to an organisation on the day, there are loads of things you can do from the comfort of your couch or office desk – help manage their Facebook page, tidy up their website, or do some proposal writing – virtual volunteering is that easy!
