The Amy Foundation, formerly the Amy Biehl Foundation, is a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering youth aged 5 to 35 from vulnerable communities in the Cape Town area. Our programmes address educational system gaps and help children and young adults overcome social challenges. Our mission is to provide a safe environment and run programmes that foster well-rounded youth who make positive life choices. We promote academic, social, and personal skill development, preparing school-leavers for employment and entrepreneurship. We offer several after-school programmes in Gugulethu, Nyanga, Phillipi, and Bonteheuwel. These programmes run Monday through Thursday, are free of cost, and include a light meal and drink. We serve over 1000 learners daily.
