Mission: Lesedi la Batho is a Christian faith-based NGO that seeks to inspire, empower, motivate, engage and equip the youth and the community at large through sport, education, skills training and social enterprise development, community wellness and arts & culture. Vision: Making South Africa a beacon of hope by providing our youth and our community with the opportunities and skills to realize their full potential and purpose and so become contributing members of society. Our Programs... 1) Skills Training: We offer free skills training courses in Computer Literacy, Sewing & Beading, Entrepreneurship, Baking & Catering, Baby Care & Child Health and Cashier & Merchandising. Each learner must also complete our comprehensive Life Skills & Work Readiness program. After completion, each learner receives a Certificate of Completion at a graduation ceremony hosted at our centre - a highlight for our community! Most of our learners are unemployed women.
