PROTEC (Programme for Technological Careers)

PROTEC focuses on STEM education for disadvantaged learners from Gr 4 to 12 assisting them to access careers in Science, Maths, Engineering and Technology. This independent NPO has for the past 43 years built a excellent reputation, provided holistic, high quality education and career support, and life skills training. We also have an impactful teacher support programme in many of the 130 PROTEC feeder schools. A prosperous South Africa needs many more young graduates in technology, IT and engineering. PROTEC provides learners support in Maths, Science, English together with a life-skills programme called World of Work. Your donation - however small - gives a learner a chance for an excellent future. Since 1982 we have seen more than 40,000 learners benefit from the Learner Excellence Programme.
