Reach For A Dream Foundation was established in 1988. The Foundation’s core purpose is “fulfilling the dreams of children of any race or colour, between the ages of 3 and 18, who are faced with life-threatening illnesses.” The Foundation’s vision is to grow and strengthen its reach. This will enable it to continue giving hope to children fighting serious illnesses, regardless of the complexity or simplicity of their dreams. The Foundation believes that fulfilling dreams and creating wonderful experiences, whether individually or in groups, plays a vital role in a child’s coping mechanism. This, hopefully, supports their recovery process. The Foundation’s sustainability relies on its programs. These programs are funded solely through corporate and individual donations.
