Uviwe Child & Youth Services (formerly known as PE Childline) is a registered child protection organisation in the vibrant city of Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha). We partner with local communities in the Northern Areas, to co-create education and development pathways for at risk young people to thrive. Our footprint mostly covers the Northern Areas of Port Elizabeth, focusing on at risk & vulnerable children & youth from Schauderville and Gelvandale. Over the past 100 years, what began as a specialist organisation to protect the rights of abused children has grown into a sustainable social change agency in our city. UVIWE focuses on CREATING EDUCATIONAL AND DEVELOPMENT PATHWAYS to thrive. We believe that “at risk” children and youth can be active participants in shaping a “better” future for themselves.
