Help Love Trust by donating 10 Standard steel trestle table for our Teacher Training Academy.

Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

The Love Trust began our Teacher Training programme in response to our search for qualified ECD teachers when we started Nokuphila School. In our experience in training ECD teachers over the past 9 years, we have come to realise that up to 90% of ECD teachers in South Africa are currently untrained and unqualified to teach young children in their care. Trained and qualified ECD teachers are a critical catalyst for a child’s lifelong learning. On top of this, in the context of South Africa’s social dynamic, we believe that accrediting more teachers to reach more children with quality education will increase employment, improve livelihoods, and reduce inequality, particularly for black South African women in informal communities. The Love Trust ECD teacher training programme is offered at our flagship Nokuphila Teacher Training Academy and, in partnership with independently owned and managed centres, in Gauteng, Kwa-Zulu Natal, Mpumalanga, Western Cape and Free State. The prime focus is to train and develop these ECD practitioners, in order for them to make an impact at the ECD centres where they teach. The Love Trust has been in partnership with Teachers Learning Centre (TLC) for over 7 years. TLC is a registered training provider with both the ETDP-SETA (Reg # 10440) as well and the QCTO (Reg # 180720-1097). TLC is a small black-owned EME that is 62.74% Black Owned and 43.44% Black Female Owned and has a Level 2 (125%) B-BBEE procurement recognition level. TLC’s primary focus is training of Early Childhood Development (ECD) practitioners. The qualifications are: Level 4 – Certificate - SAQA ID 58761 Level 5 – Higher Certificate – SAQA ID 23117 The Love Trust has graduated over 728 ECD practitioners throughout 5 provinces in the country, in 9 Teacher Training Centres. This vital donation of 10 Standard steel trestle tables, will allow for The Love Trust to cater to all our students during classes, our students will be able to complete their tasks, assignments and group work with dignity.
