Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

Objective: Aims at providing both our younger and older learners with a uniform to reflect their participation in the Centre. The learners at the Centre often perform in excursions locally and internationally. We often encounter challenges with apparel as our learners come from varied backgrounds. This means that some of the poorer children are made to feel “less than” because they do not have access to the same standard of clothing as the other children. In an attempt to stop this and to ensure that our children are recognised (and proud to be recognised) as Center participants, we would like for them to have a simple uniform consisting of a t-shirt. We would like to provide every child with one T-shirt and for the older children, one formal shirt, that can be used for performances whilst promoting the branding and awareness of the Centre.

Helpful tips

Stay safe

  1. 1Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
  2. 2When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
  3. 3Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
  4. 4Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
  5. 5If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
