Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
WE NEED YOUR HELP WITH A FRIDGE We’re currently looking for a fridge for our MEALS OF HOPE FEEDING PROJECT. Read below for more on this project: Meals of Hope Feeding Project is a social upliftment and community development project that helps women, elderly, boys, girls and children in desperate need while simultaneously filling needs in the townships, informal settlements and villages as they are identified. Our beneficiaries all come from challenged backgrounds, which includes poverty, HIV positive mothers and their children, parents who are addicted to substances, single-mother homes, and orphans. We currently have over 500 beneficiaries and vulnerable children receiving nutritious cooked meals, sanitary products, food hampers, toiletries, school uniforms, stationary, clothing. Your donation will directly impact these vulnerable, marginalized children, women, girls and their families, as well as any other children attending in the near future. PROGRAMME VISION To empower less fortunate, orphaned, marginalised and the vulnerable to lead a meaningful and dignified life so that they can fulfil their physical, spiritual, family, social, career and financial needs, and to enable them to pay it forward to others from day to day. PROGRAMME MISSION To provide our beneficiaries with safe, healthy nutrition, assistance to obtain medical services, education, skills training, job creation, creative recreation, as well as emotional and spiritual development on a sustainable basis. To address the needs in the townships, informal settlements and villages by providing meals weekly, monthly food hampers and vegetable garden stat-up to the orphaned children and those in desperate need within the community. It is so humbling to be involved at grass-roots level with so many lives daily, which in turn makes it possible for change, tolerance and love to abound everywhere. THE WELLBEING OF ONE IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF US ALL. We receive ZERO Government funding and operate wholly on donations & sponsorships received from individuals and corporates, as well as our own fundraising efforts. Please know that your donation and support will make it easier for us to better the quality of life of those who need it the most and suffering. Please note that we are a LEVEL 1 BBBEE Organisation and certificates can be issued. We are also registered with SARS in order to issue Article 18a PBO Certificates for all donations received.
