Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

We get involved in all aspects of animal welfare. We provide shelter for unwanted, stray and abandoned animals, promote an efficient adoption programme, prosecute animal cruelty cases and regularly address schools on the challenges of animal welfare. We also run a busy welfare hospital for lower income groups and visit underprivileged areas to treat sick and injured animals. Our area of operation spans approximately 4 000 square kilometers. We depend almost entirely on the generosity of the general public, trusts, foundations, testators and benevolent corporate partners. In 2019/20 we saw 17 045 animals, sterilised 3 747 cats and dogs and vaccinated 8 306 pets. Hospital in-patients totaled 4 631. A staggering monthly average of 386 patients.

Stay safe

  1. 1Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.

  3. 3Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
  4. 4Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
