Help Kidz Positive Foundation by Donating blankets for Mothers and Children effected by HIV/AIDS
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
At Kidz Positive, our mission is to provide support and assistance to mothers in need. Currently, we are proud to be supporting approximately 45 mothers, who are responsible for an average of 7 family members and, in some cases, as many as 13 dependents. Our primary objective is to improve the quality of life for all those involved in our project. However, we are currently facing a significant challenge due to the extremely cold and wet season here in Cape Town. The harsh weather conditions are making it difficult for us to ensure that these women and their children stay warm and comfortable. This is where your help can make a significant difference. We kindly request your generous support in the form of warm blanket donations. By providing warm blankets, you can directly contribute to the well-being and comfort of these families during this challenging period. Your contribution, no matter how small, will be immensely appreciated. It is through the kindness and compassion of individuals like you that we can continue our mission of providing a better life for those in need. Thank you in advance for your consideration and support.
Helpful tips
Stay safe
- 1. Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
- 2. When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
- 3. Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
- 4. Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
- 5. If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
- 6. Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
- 7. Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
