Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

Apart from Phoenix Child Welfare offices providing a service to the community we also have a project called Sahara which is a shelter accommodating women and children who are victims of gender based violence. the women and children often leave their homes due to their traumatic experiences with absolutely nothing. Once they are admitted to the shelter, we have to provide them with a care pack which includes, clothing, toiletries, sleepwear and serve them hot meals. We therefore need to constantly have items such as clothing, shoes, groceries, perishable food, baby formula, diapers and detergents in stock. Sahara is currently full to capacity. We have 15 children and 6 mothers. We have 3 x babies and urgently in need of formula (infacare 1 and 2, nido 1 and 2), diapers (s,m,l,xl), baby cereal and purity. Our school going children also in dire need of stationery and school bags.
