The Nelson Mandela Foundation focus area for 2023 is the intersection between food security and climate change under the theme “it’s in your hands”. Under this theme, the focus for 2023 is about Climate, Food, and Solidarity. This year, we have lined us several activities, leading to Friday the 17th of July, 2023 in honour of Madiba. We are expecting corporate Volunteers, some can only do their volunteer hours during the week, hence we scheduled for; Phronesis School has been a lighthouse in the community, giving the children an opportunity to escape hunger and malnutrition as they receive nutritious healthy meals every day, while of course receiving a quality primary basic education that promises them a better future of escaping the shackles of poverty. The school structure is due for repainting, the current paint is peeling off. We accept any donations on our wish list.
