Help The Topsy Foundation - Johannesburg by warm blankets for very poor families in rural communities

Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

The Topsy Foundation is once again appealing to individuals, schools, community groups, churches and organisations to donate blankets to the impoverished rural communities they support in their Annual Blanket Drive. Each year Topsy provides warmth and comfort to the neediest in the communities they represent. “Our primary focus is on orphan and vulnerable children who are cared for by family members, often grannies or siblings and those in the severely affected by povery,” explains Dr Jana Oosthuizen. “For many of our beneficiaries, a blanket could mean the difference between life and death especially in cases where there are small children or babies in the household.” The Topsy Foundation NPC empowers families and communities to improve the care and protection of all children made vulnerable by HIV and AIDS. Blankets can be dropped at the Topsy Head Office in Bryanston, Ogilvy & Mather, 15 Sloane Street, Bryanston or contact Topsy on (011) 709 6806.
