Help InspireZA raise R150,000 for libraries & reading festivals in Limpopo
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
We would like to build little libraries in these communities, with Reading festivals each year to keep reinvigorating the love for reading and writing own stories. Imagine returning to your birthplace after 40 years, eager to see your childhood home, neighbors, and maybe even some relatives. What emotions come up? Warmth, pride, gratitude? For me, it’s despair, disappointment, and grief for missed potential. Driving past my old primary school in the rural area of Segopje, Ga Mamabolo, in Limpopo, not much has changed in over 30 years. This place has produced Comrades Marathon winners, world-renowned surgeons, scholars, and political leaders, showing no lack of potential. The villages here are strong, rooted in community and botho, always looking out for one another. They could thrive with more resources. Help us partner with these communities to build a different future for the children growing up there now. Your ideas on how we can spend donations are very much appreciated and welcome.
