About this campaign
We’re giving away 5 DOUBLE TICKETS to the Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 to thank our volunteer and donor community!
The centennial of Nelson Mandela has been quite a celebratory year for social activists. Things got really exciting when Global Citizen announced they were coming to South Africa to host the event of the century and celebrate what would have been Madiba’s 100th year.
The festival is happening on the 2nd December 2018, at the FNB Stadium in Soweto, Johannesburg. With a line-up featuring Beyoncé, JAY-Z, Cassper Nyovest, D’banj, and Ed Sheeran (to name but a few) the festival is destined to be an incredible event for Global Citizens across the country. We’re giving the forgood community the chance to earn tickets - read on!
The Global Citizen Campaign focuses on 6 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good Health & Well-Being, Quality Education, Gender Equality and Clean Water & Sanitation.
During the campaign there’ll be opportunities specifically aligned to these six SDGs for you to get involved and create social impact.
Here’s how to become eligible to win tickets from forgood:
STEP 1: Volunteer, donate or create an offer on forgood during the month of October 2018.
STEP 2: Complete your awesome volunteering or donation experience during October – and most importantly, get a 4 or 5-star rating from the Cause(s) you interact with.
Winners will be drawn and announced on 7 November 2018. The more rated activities you can complete in October, the better your chances of winning the tickets!
Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions, which can be found on our forgood Global Citizen blog post.
