More about Patch-Up South Africa
Our Dream: Ending Homelessness, Drug and Substance Abuse. Understanding that our target group faces significant challenges, including poverty and past traumas, we employ a holistic approach that addresses the multifaceted needs of our key vulnerable communities. This includes provision of food security and healthcare services, continuous psychosocial support and entrepreneurship opportunities to tackle issues: drug and substance abuse, food insecurity, gender-based violence, compromised physical and mental health, fractured family structures and unemployment. Our target groups are: - Homeless Community (Substance Users, Street Sleepers) - VFY (Vulnerable Families and At-Risk Youth) - GBVF (Gender-Based Violence and Femicide in key vulnerable communities) Our Programs Include: - Food Security (Nutrition, Agriculture) - Health Care (HIV/TB/STI, Psychosocial Support, Hygiene Support, Advanced Care Referrals) - Sustainability (Entrepreneurship, Education, Employment).
