She made attempts to end her life, feeling like she had nothing to live for. Kenzi was moved to two other children’s homes, but things didn’t improve. She felt lost and alone, like she was wandering through a dark forest with no direction. She longed for love, care, and a sense of belonging. Her house parents cooked her favourite meals and listened to her stories.
