Founded by parents in 2005, Action in Autism (AiA) is a registered non-profit organisation, whose mission is to improve quality of life of Autistic persons through advocacy, education, skills development and accessible support services, while promoting acceptance, inclusion and empowerment. AiA offers a range of services across the lifespan. These include a walk-in resource centre that provides guidance to individuals and families navigating a diagnosis, as well as support networks that connect parents through WhatsApp groups and in-person meetings. AiA offers free diagnostic clinics, practical resources and advice on support, schooling, and development. For young children, our early learning intervention centre supports those aged 2 to 6 years in building foundational skills and preparing for school. For adults, AiA’s skills development and business hub focuses on practical skills development in entrepreneurship in the areas of cooking and baking, arts and crafts, and horticulture...
