Active Youth Zimbabwe

Active Youth Zimbabwe was founded in May 2012 initially as a Self-Help Youth group but later, in 2014 transformed into a youth association under ministry of youth and Zimbabwe youth council registration number BYO 001/2014. It then subsequently registered as a Trust on 01 of March 2016 registration number MA193/2016 with the mandate of promoting child and youth development in Zimbabwe. AYZ’s program activities and projects are currently based in Bulawayo, Middle lands Matabeleland south and Matabeleland north provinces. Active Youth Zimbabwe exists to promote the full development and realization of potential by young people thus ensuring their full participation and contribution to the development of society. AYZ endeavor to do this by expanding choices and opportunities for young people through holistic and participatory community-based interventions.
