The Callas Foundation, founded in 2018 by Caroline Peters, is a feminist, community-based organisation headquartered in Bridgetown on the Cape Flats, South Africa. Rooted in principles of justice, equality, and care, the Foundation was established to respond to the intersecting crises of gender-based violence (GBV), food insecurity, and social inequality affecting women, children, and families across the Western Cape and beyond.
