Cancer Alliance

The Cancer Alliance is a national coalition of over 30+ South African civil society organisations, cancer advocates, survivors, healthcare professionals, and researchers. We are united in our mission to ensure equitable access to quality cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care for all people living in South Africa. Founded in response to the escalating cancer burden and systemic gaps in cancer services, the Cancer Alliance has become a leading voice in national cancer advocacy. We work collaboratively to influence health policy, mobilise communities, hold duty bearers accountable, and champion the rights of those affected by cancer. Our work is underpinned by a commitment to social justice, health equity, and evidence-informed action.
