Corinthians Africa

Corinthians Africa is a community non-profit in La Rochelle, Johannesburg South, that uses sport, education and technology to open doors for young people and people with disabilities. It began as street football in 2012 and works through Ubabalo, its whole-life coaching approach. We run South Africa's first Blind Football League with Blind SA (seven teams, more than 90 players), girls' netball, the STEAM Centre (learner results up 25%), community food gardens, GBV outreach and C-Tech, a youth drone and technology programme that creates paid work for young drone operators. We reach more than 3,000 people a month. Recognition includes the 2025 Black Sash Human Rights Project of the Year and the 2025 Nedbank CSI Project of the Year.
