Corinthians Africa Advocates for Women and Children, Raising GBVF Awareness

Corinthians Africa is actively advocating for the rights and safety of women and children by raising awareness about Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF). Through engaging talks and educational sessions in schools and local communities, the organisation educates young people and community members on prevention, empowerment, and creating safer environments. By combining advocacy with mentorship and inclusive sport, Corinthians Africa is fostering awareness, resilience, and positive change.

Corinthians Africa is committed to advocating for the rights and safety of women and children, with a strong focus on raising awareness about Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF). Every year, we serve close to 500 learners, engaging them through educational talks and interactive sessions in schools and local communities. Our programmes aim not only to educate young people about the risks and consequences of GBVF, but also to empower them with knowledge and strategies to protect themselves and others. In addition to education, we provide ongoing support to victims, offering guidance, mentorship, and referral pathways to ensure they have access to the help they need. Through these initiatives, Corinthians Africa fosters safer environments, encourages open dialogue, and strengthens community resilience. By combining advocacy with mentorship, inclusive sport, and education, we are helping to cultivate a generation of informed, empowered, and socially responsible young people.
