INTRODUCTION TO DANCE FOR ALL MISSION, VISION & VALUES Dance for All South Africa (DFA SA) is a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) based in Cape Town, South Africa that teaches a variety of dance styles through top-quality, professional training to some of the most disenfranchised, vulnerable children and youth in South African society. Children whose everyday realities include environments of poverty, unemployment, under-resourced and overcrowded schools with under-trained and overwhelmed teachers, substance abuse, gang violence and legacies of racial and economic oppression. Through providing after-‐school daily classes in rural areas and townships across the Western Cape, with a pathway to a professional career for those who choose, DFA SA provides real career opportunities in the creative industries through training to be professional dancers, teachers, arts administrators and choreographers.
