ECD Centre Built out of Eco-bricks
In 2025 Earthly Touch Foundation embarked on a 3rd project when they were approached by Greater Are You nursery school to build them a school as they were educating the kids in a back room. This provided us with an opportunity to work with various organizations , and the community to clean up the environment whilst we provided a safe environment for kids to be educated in.
The project to construct the Early Childhood Centre started in January 2025 after Earthly Touch was approached to support the center as children were being taught out of a backroom. With the support of Roots and Shoots and a donation from Soliihul Prep in UK, Cherith Projects a team of building and construction specialist. A community garden and a Durawall built out of eco-bricks was added to the centre. 33 000 ecobricks was used , 20 jobs created and 35 gardens and an orchard to feed 400 families.
