More about Empowervate Trust
Empowervate Trust was created in order to empower and motivate the youth in South Africa. Our vision is to have empowered generations of youth who are active and responsible citizens. Our flagship programme, YCAP, the Youth Citizens Action Programme powered by Empowervate, challenges learners to demonstrate empowered active citizenship and social entrepreneurship. Since Covid19 in 2020 we launched the Young Active Citizen Awards which is an online programme based on learners solving issues such as Covid19 challenges, mental health issues, Gender Based Violence, Racism, Unemployment and Food Insecurity.
