Feed The Khaltsha

Feed the Khaltsha is a purpose-driven organization dedicated to nurturing and uplifting the underprivileged in Khayelitsha. Founded in early 2020 after a year of planning and community engagement, our mission is to create sustainable impact for Khayelitsha’s most vulnerable. With the invaluable support of partners like uThando South Africa, Abalimi Bezekhaya, Timeless Africa Safaris, Wings of Support, Casidra, Netlogon, and HOSA, we began by supplying organic vegetables to the Sibongile Centre, which serves children with cerebral palsy and other severe disabilities. Our work goes beyond food security—we also launched the Lathitha Training Centre to empower disadvantaged youth with technology skills, helping to break the cycle of poverty. Today, we are expanding our garden onto an additional hectare of land, meaning more fresh food for the community and more employment opportunities. Together with our partners, we are building a brighter future for Khayelitsha.
