Some stories begin with heartbreak. This one begins with survival. A tiny baby was discovered abandoned in a box, left alone and vulnerable for almost 48 hours without food, comfort, or care. Exposed to the elements and facing unimaginable odds, this precious child's future hung in the balance. When the baby was finally found, emergency assistance was provided, and a journey of healing began. Soon after, the child was welcomed into the care of Gift A Child Children's Home. The early days were filled with medical assessments, nurturing care, and round-the-clock attention. Our caregivers worked tirelessly to ensure that every need was met—from feeding and healthcare to the simple but powerful gift of being held, comforted, and loved. Day by day, the baby grew stronger. What began as a story of abandonment slowly became a story of resilience, healing, and hope. Today, that same child is a happy, healthy, energetic two-year-old. Filled with curiosity and laughter, they spend their days exploring, learning, playing, and reaching important developmental milestones.
