Give a Child a Family Africa (GCF) is a Child Protection Organisation dedicated to keeping children safe, supported, and connected to family. We believe every child deserves the love, stability, and belonging that only a family can provide — and we work every day to make that a reality. Across South Africa and beyond, many families face overwhelming challenges that place children at risk. GCF steps in early, offering practical support, counselling, parenting guidance, and crisis intervention to prevent family breakdown and protect children before harm occurs. When children cannot remain at home, we promote safe, nurturing, family-based alternative care (foster care) rather than institutionalisation.
