The successful completion of the WASH project in Ogade, Bergville, KwaZulu-Natal, marked a major milestone in improving sanitation for rural learners. Through a vital partnership between Procter & Gamble (P&G) and Habitat for Humanity South Africa, a new ablution block was constructed specifically for girls at Ogade Primary School. Access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene is a basic human right. This project reinforces both organisations’ commitment to health, human dignity, and the empowerment of young learners. “As the above-mentioned school staff, the SGB, and the learners at large, we wish to express our sincere gratitude to you and your company for the outstanding work you've done for our school. This has indeed given our girl child a form of pride and confidence. We appreciate everything you've given to us, and we are hoping that your assistance in our school will not end. Thank you.” – Mrs NP Hlongwane, Head of Department (HOD), Ogade Primary School
